Permissions / Opt in/out
Jul. 11th, 2019 04:54 amHello! Archer here has a power that requires a permissions post.
What is this power? I like to call it...
When Archer offers someone something (be that his hand, a glass of wine, or a seat) and they accept it, their inhibitions are lowered similar to how they would be if they had been dosed with truth serum. However, in order for this effect to continue, he has to tell the truth. Should he lie will break the effect and the affected person will be released from the ability’s hold. If not broken, the hold will last for the remainder of the conversation and wear off over the course of a few minutes rather than suddenly.
Should the effect be allowed to end naturally, the person affected is unlikely to know they had the power used on them - though by no means is this guaranteed, and those who are familiar with such powers or the effects of truth serum will likely be able to see it for what it is, possibly even while under its effect. If the power is ended abruptly, usually by a lie, the person is far more likely to notice they were put under the power of someone’s ability.
Also, for the record, Archer is just a manipulative bastard! So if you just want to opt out of interacting with him period, I would be perfectly okay with that. It's important for people to be comfortable when they play!

Opt out of Hospitality?: No. Hospitality can be used on all my muses
►Does your character have any defense against Hospitality?: Anders might be slightly more resistant because of Justice.
Other notes?: Nothing really

Opt out of ALL interaction?: Nope
Opt out of Hospitality?: Nope
►Does your character have any defense against Hospitality?: Barbara has a strong will, but since she's never encountered a power exactly like this, she wouldn't have any real resistance to it, at least at first.
Other notes?:
